Attract beautiful butterflies to your garden, with this DIY feeder.

You’ll need a single plastic garden saucer or pie plate.  Punch four holes around the rim of the saucer/plate.  Using twine or heavier string, thread it through the holes.  To make it extra colourful, you can always slip through beads onto the twine/string.   The extra colour will help attract the butterflies.  Connect the 4 strands of twine/string and tie together.  Find a spot in your garden to hang the feeder.   You will want to place oranges, bananas (leave the skin on the back to help hold them in place), mangoes, watermelon, and papaya. And don’t worry if the fruit is overripe or past its prime – that’s actually the best way to attract butterflies!
