Roasted pumpkin seeds are the perfect salty snack during the fall season! Pick out some bright orange pumpkins and get started.

Directions…

  1. Cut the top off your pumpkin
  2. Scoop out the pumpkin guts – set aside the seeds
  3. Rinse the seeds
  4. Pat dry seeds with paper towel
  5. Pre-heat oven to 300°F
  6. Add 1 tbs butter or oil (whatever you prefer – add more if needed)
  7. Add salt to taste (feel free to add your own seasoning)
  8. Spread seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet
  9. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown (Stir seeds occasionally)
  10. Let pumpkin seeds cool down
  11. Enjoy!
