The days are getting shorter and it’s getting colder, which means that winter is on the way. But don’t worry, you still have time to enjoy the fun things that fall has to offer! Here are our favourite ways to get outside and enjoy the fall in Kitchener/Waterloo.

This CHYM 96.7 feature is presented in partnership with Martin’s Apple Chips. Truly crisp, purely fun.

  1. Pick the perfect pumpkin at St Jacob’s Farmer’s Market

The St Jacobs Farmers Market is the perfect fall morning adventure. Pick out your perfect pumpkin for Halloween and shop from 100’s of local vendors.

  1. Enjoy the Grand River

Kitchener/Waterloo home to the beautiful Grand River – Fall is the perfect time of year to canoe down it while taking in the amazing views of the all the fall colours in the region.

If water doesn’t interest you – there is no shortage of amazing trails located in many of the conservation areas around the region.

One of my favourites – Strasburg Creek… The views and colours are beyond perfect!

  1. Uptown Waterloo

Finish off the day with a night on King Street Uptown Waterloo. Fall has the perfect weather to easily hop from restaurant to restaurant and take in all the great local food and “beverage” establishment to cap off the night right!
